When I dip my brush into the paint,
                      I plunge into the river,
                              And unveil my heart
Ever since I can remember, even before learning how to write, I would scribble and
create stories , describe the wind and express everything I felt in my heart. This
journey continues as I learn to peel back my artichoke heart. My paintings express
sacred metaphors I discover in nature that are connected with a healing process
within myself. I am deeply inspired by the wonders and intricate details each season
brings and bow humbly to the endless guidance I discover within it. Metaphorically
speaking, I describe in my art the essence of my life which is a process of cultivation.
I am at the altar of compost, a sacred real place where radical and nurturing
transformation can begin to take form as I willingly face my fears so that new seeds
of love can blossom in new fertile soil : my heart. Here I begin to truly learn how to
breathe and embrace my life with utmost gratitude.
